STUDENT RIGHTS

 

The student is expected to

  • take responsibility for their studies and deveopment.

  • regularly check their student e-mail, "My pages" on LTU's website and Fronter.

  • contact LTU for help with disabilities. LTU offers help for reading- and writing problems, and much more.
     

The student should get

  • a review of the course evaluation and improvement at the start of the course.

  • reasonable time to complete tasks and obtain feedback before the examination.

  • schedule at least 10 days before the course starts. Schedule changes after this time shall be done in consultation with the students. The examiner should go out with the information.

  • help by student counselors if needed. Visiting hours shall be continuous.

  • unlimited number of attempts at the examination or training periods unless it is specified in the syllabus.

  • the course litterature adopted no later than 50 days before the course starts. If less than half the book is used, this shall be in the curriculum. All literature should be available at the library.

  • examination results within 20 working days of the examination date and not later than 12 working days before the re-examination. (If more than 60 people takes the course, or if it's a distance course, only 12 working days before the re-examination applies.)

  • personal injury insurance.

  • be treated equally regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, religion or other belief, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation and age.
     

Courses

  • Points scope of a task must correspond to time in HP.

  • Module schedule shall be completed no later than 10 days before the application deadline.
