SPACE CAMPUS
Space Campus is made up of two buildings in one - one IRF-building and one LTU-building. As students you will mostly spend your time in the LTU-building. But like the student you are, you will probably always use IRF's entrence, since it's like eight meters closer to where the bus stops.
Where do I leave my jacket/shoes?
As close to your classroom as possible. This is because if the firealarm rings, the fire walls will go down, and you will not be able to move between floors. Don't be that person standing outside in -40 C without a jacket or shoes. Also, don't use other people's indoor shoes.
Where do I eat lunch?
The student dining room is located on the second floor in the LTU-building. It has a kitchen equiped with an oven and stove, freezers and fridges, a dishwasher, and a bunch of microwave owens. There is a limited number of forks, so if you really need a fork, bring your own.
You can also sign up for lunch at Atmosfären, the restaurant in the IRF-building, at the latest with the arrival of the 9.30-ish bus. The list to sign up for lunch is located, walking in through the IRF entrance, up the first stair, through the glas door and slighly to the left, on the wall. It shouldn't be hard to miss the group of people gathering around it! Atmosfären takes both card and cash.
Where do I buy Kexchokland and Coca Cola?
Ground floor, to the left of the student service, on your way to the ping pong room. Coins only. 50 ÖRE may work.
Who fills and empties the dishwasher?
You do.
How do I get my coffee fix?
In the student kitchen you can buy coffee at "cost price", card cash only (read the note). Join the fika group on Facebook to get an update as soon as someone has made a new pot, donated cake or such. You can also buy coffee in Atmosfären.
When is afterwork?
Never. No alcohol or drugs of any kind is allowed at Space Campus.
How do I get access to the computer room?
It's often open, but talk to Maria at student service to get a blipper key. It is also needed for access to lab/project rooms that might be needed for some courses.
Where is the computer room? Why is there only Windows?
The computer room is located on the first floor, room D?. The two computer furthest back in the middle row have Linux.
What is Freja?
Freja is a study room located in the LTU-building, second floor, to the left of the student kitchen/dining area. There are also study rooms in IRF's Library. Freja is rumoured to get new art and chairs soon!
What is Ljusgården, "garden or light"?
It's the area with all the tables and chairs on the ground floor. Soon the chairs will be replaced with sofas!
I can hear people play ping pong!?
Yes. Ground floor, to the left of the student service, room D?. Never play if people are using the room to study/have a meeting.
Where is the resting-room located?
Forth floor.
